This is a very feminine pocket rosary
of tarnish-resistant Argentium wirewrapped freshwater
pearls with a beautiful Pater set of a faceted 6mm deep
clear purple amethyst embellished with bright sterling
spacers and small freshwater pearls. The chain links are
also sterling silver. The pearls are a slight rose or
peach shade that perfectly complement the amethyst. The
small ornate French rosary set is sterling silver that
has been oxidized to highlight the gorgeous detail. The
crucifix is less than a 1.5 inches or about 35mm.The Ave
pearls measure fairly uniformly 6-7mm with good
symmetry. (Apologies, previously I described the
crucifix as less than one-half inch.)

This little rosary is one of my best selling styles.
Prized high quality lapis lazuli beads measure 9mm. Complete
sterling silver consruction, chain, and rosary set. The construction
wire is tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling. Beautiful Holy Spirit
center above a traditional Celtic penal crucifix. This crucifix has
no symbols other than INRI above the haloed corpus. The rosary set
is also sterling silver. Tip to tip, the rosary measures less than
7.25" (~18cm).
This style of Celtic crucifix is often traditionally paired with a
ring on a linear one decade rosary. This style of rosary was called
a penal rosary because it was developed by the ancient Irish
Catholics during times of persecution. The ring would slide over a thumb
or finger, and because the crucifix was long and narrow, the little
rosary could be hidden in the palm of the hand.

St. Paul, the
Guardian Angel Herschel, and lapis is one of the modern birthstones for
December. St. Paul's feast day is June 29th. In ancient times, sapphire was frequently translated as lapis lazuli.

| This is a diminutive pocket rosary of 4mm lapis lazuli, malachite, and sterling silver. The Ave's are lapis, the Pater/Our Father bead is 6mm malachite flanked by 4mm lapis and wirewrapped. All wire used is tarnish resistant Argentium sterling silver. The chain and rosary set are also sterling silver.
